Automate Shipping Labels with Make.com and Templated
If you run an online store, you probably know the hassle of managing shipping labels. Every order means jumping between tabs, copying customer info, and pasting it into your label tool, often leading to mistakes and delays.
Fortunately, you can automate this entire process using Make.com and Templated. In this guide, we’ll walk you through setting this up from scratch. At the end, you can download a Make.com Scenario blueprint to get you started right away.
What You’ll Need

- Once signed in, find this under the “API Integration” tab on the left side to view your API key.
Step 2: Create or Choose a Shipping Template
- Go to the Template Gallery and open the Shipping Label category.
- Choose a template and click on “ Customize Template.”
- Edit the design to fit your brand. Make sure to label all fields you plan to automate properly.
Step 3: Prepare Your Google Sheet

- Connect your Templated API key from your dashboard. Select the customized template you saved earlier.
- Add and map the necessary layers based on your templates.
Step 7: Add Module “Update a Row”

- Fill out the necessary details to map the Order ID and Shipping Label URL accordingly.
Step 8: Save and Test the Scenario
- Click the Save button to lock in your settings.
